Close but no cigar.....yet.

So we are still waiting on getting final inspections approved, but we are in and have moved all our items out of boxes. Still have work to do on hanging pictures and decorating but it is getting closer. Here are a lot more pictures.....

Down to the wire.....we have power and working plumbing!

We are down the home stretch and if all goes well we will be able to move in next week. We have power and all of the plumbing is being installed. The upstairs which is the master bath and bedroom are all complete. We also have our floors finished and just need to touch up the stairs and install the railing. There are still some items to fine tune, but we are getting close....and yes our neighbor still hasn't moved his car:)

Lights, Paint, Tile and Action

The lights have been hung this week on the inside of the house and we are well into our second coat of paint on the exterior of the house. The tile is almost finished and inspections for the electrical will take place this week. We have completed almost all of the bathrooms and toilets and sinks are on their way. The floors and carpet are the next big step before we can move in. The back yard is also becoming visible again. Enjoy! P.S. We really wish our good old neighbor Ed would move his car!!!!!

Cabinets and Tile

There has been a lot going on at the house since the last post and the house is starting to really take shape. The kitchen cabinets were installed this week and they are laying tiles in the bathroom. Next week we should see the hardwood floors I thought I would throw in the last picture of the back yard looking good right? Ha

Drywall is Finished!

Sorry it has been a little while since the last post as we have been waiting on inspections, etc. We are now finished with the drywall installation and the first coat of sheet rock for the outside of the house. They have to put 3 coats on and patch up some other areas before we can start to paint. This week we should be able to start the tile in the bathrooms and the flooring. Enjoy!
