Backyard Bliss

Sorry it has been awhile since my last post. I had to update the blog with new pictures of the backyard. This is becoming a living room for us especially with the fire going at night. To all of our Midwest friends as you can see we are growing tomatoes and have been all winter. The lemons and orange tree are coming in nicely and the orange blossoms smell heavenly. The magnolia tree was pretty surprise as with thought the tree was dead but guess it blooms this time of year. Dad made the road sign with all of our international travels and places that are special to us. He used pieces of our old barn in Iowa that is over 100 years old. We can't wait to continue to add to it. My hand at a craft was the window herb marker to pay Hilda (the prior owner) a tribute. A glass of wine, a cheese plate and good company makes us never want to go inside. Lando is a big fan of long naps outside.
