Top of the Tower

The tower is up and the addition is almost complete just to need to pass inspections and we will start in on the drywall, electrical and sheet rock.

Stairway to Heaven....Well Almost:)

Wow things are really speeding along and the second floor is framed. The stairs are finished and we think that we might accidentally have an ocean view! Kidding, but we aren't too far from the beach so on a clear day who knows. I am sure our new neighbors are going to enjoy a nice swim in their pool with us looking down at them from our bedroom. Hey it's LA you have to use the space you have:) I am planning on baking goody baskets for them next week as a peace offering for our second floor view. Lando really wanted to check things out, but was stuck viewing from the car. Enjoy!!!!

The first floor is up!

We were able to see a lot of progress this week on the first floor of the house. We are starting to see where the half bath, laundry room, closets and kitchen are going to be (I am standing where the kitchen island is going) and the ceilings are nice and tall so it feels like we have a lot of room. We had a plumber spotting so that is a good sign.

Framing time

The house is starting to take some shape we have started framing!

Wish life could always be like this....a little inspiration of happiness from Lando.

Ella Rae Weinstock

So excited we got to meet our new little niece Ella. She is such a beautiful baby and already the apple of everyone's eye. We also got to celebrate her nana's 60th Birthday in Atlanta. This brings our niece total to 4!

Foundation for the Future

At long last we are able to pour the foundation. We are hoping this is the part where things start moving faster!
